Dropped $40 on an old Geocities mirror site and it was worth every penny

Back in March I got nosy about a band page I had in 1998 and found someone selling a full backup of the old Geocities neighborhoods on CD. Spent 40 bucks on it and now I can browse my original layout with the sparkly GIFs and guestbook intact, it's like a time machine. The crazy part is seeing how many links still work through the Internet Archive, half those sites exploded into webrings I forgot about. Anyone else shelled out for old web relics or are you all just using the Wayback Machine?
